Czechia has officially launched its campaign for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, with the debut rehearsal of their chosen act, Adonxs, who took to the stage with his emotional track “Kiss Kiss Goodbye.” This first run-through was held at the St. Jakobshalle arena in Basel, Switzerland, marking an important milestone in the country’s preparations for the event.

Adonxs, a Slovak-born artist and songwriter, was selected internally by Czech Television (ČT) to represent the nation. His entry, “Kiss Kiss Goodbye,” is a powerful ballad infused with electronic and pop influences, centered on the emotional turmoil of parting ways in a relationship. The song was co-created by Adonxs alongside a diverse team of collaborators, including George Masters-Clark, Lorenzo Calvo, Ronald Janeček, Adriano Lopes da Silva, Ines Coulon, and Michaela Charvátová.

The performance’s visual direction is led by Matyáš Vorda, who also handles lighting, with Vít Bělohradský managing the camera work—both of whom have played key roles in Czechia’s Eurovision presentations since 2022. Choreography is coordinated by František Čech. The stage concept emphasizes a minimalistic, all-white theme designed to evoke emotional clarity and visual impact.

Set to perform 12th in the second semi-final on May 15, 2025, Adonxs has already drawn attention for his heartfelt vocals and the track’s evocative message. Enthusiasts and critics alike are eager to see how the performance evolves.

Czechia’s second rehearsal is scheduled for May 9 and is expected to offer deeper insight into how the final performance will come together. With a creative and experienced team behind him, Adonxs is aiming to leave a lasting impression and lead Czechia to success at Eurovision 2025.
